Hillcrest Health & Living is currently seeking an Insurance Navigation Specialist at Hillcrest Health and Rehab in Bellevue, NE.

What are my responsibilities?
- Support and back-up for service line navigator responsibilities including but not limited to gather and processing all incoming referrals in accordance with the post-acute referral process.
- Conducts medical review for referrals based on established admission and financial criteria for service lines; demonstrates accuracy in decision-making resulting in appropriate placement for patients and positive customer experiences.
- Data entry into the EMR, CRM, insurance verification and insurance authorization platforms.
- Conducts the verification of all insurance coverage and authorizations accurately and timely for all customers referred to the service line.
- During weekend on-call and PTO coverage, processes all assigned referrals including screening, providing answers and completing all appropriate steps according to established protocols and workflows.
What do I need to be considered?

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in administrative business office functions required.
- Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Windows and MS Office required.
- Experience in health care services including acute and post-acute services preferred.
- Experience with handling admissions for acute or post-acute rehab and long-term care preferred.
