Hillcrest Health Services is looking for an Admissions Coordinator to join our Hospice team in Bellevue!

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and care of potential patients at intake and through their time on hospice with the coordination of needed team members, supplies and equipment to ensure a quality end of life.

What does a day in the life look like?
  • Responsible for all prospect requests and correspondence with referrals, including answering all incoming calls, responding immediately to ECIN requests, documentation of caller's information into EMR, obtaining initial signed orders for service and all needed patient records.
  • Coordinate initial patient care with other ancillary services such as DME, pharmacy and other outside contracts.
  • Evaluate team member workload and assign referrals and communicate assignments as directed by Director of Clinical Services.
  • Receives and audits all patient records to include but not limited to consent paperwork, physician orders, and insurance information.
  • Communicates on a daily basis with hospice team, physicians and outside resources in a positive and professional manner.
  • Manages the supply needs of the agency for patients and office functions.

What should I have to be considered?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post high clerical training or degree with business emphasis preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in administrative business office functions or health care field required.
