Hillcrest Health Services is looking for our next Nurse Manager to join our nursing team!

This position is responsible for clinical management to ensure a successful outcome for the post-acute patient along with clinical coordination of the post-acute patient beginning with the patient's admission through to their discharge.

What does a day in the life look like?

• Participate in the oversight of daily and ongoing staffing.
• Oversee neighborhood for compliance with call lights, infection control logs, as well as patients assessed for need of fall prevention program.
• Complete daily rounds to assure needs of team members and patients are being met.
• Attend daily multidisciplinary stand up meeting and to bring any items that need follow up.
• Assure that neighborhood is prepared for new admits including equipment in the room, nurse manager has received a nurse to nurse report from the hospital, team members are prepared to meet the new patient on arrival.

What do I need to be considered for this position?

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a Registered Nurse.
• At least three years' experience in a skilled nursing setting preferred.
• At least one year of leadership experience as a unit manager or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification by AHA required.
