What does a day in the life look like?
- Completes patient treatments in accordance with established plan of care using evidence based guidelines.
- Completes accurate charging of services and provides documentation to support the charges and provision of the therapy services within facility guidelines.
- Manages each patient's plan of care effectively by timely interdisciplinary collaboration and communication with physician involvement as needed.
- Initiates regular communication back to the supervising physical therapist about patient care issues, departmental concerns, and specific ideas affecting goals and treatment plan development.
What should I have to be considered?
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapist assistant or physical therapist program required.
- Must be licensed in the state of Nebraska or compact state as a PTA/PT.
- Must have BLS CPR certification or be willing to obtain within 45 days of hire.
